Royalty by Trent Nelson

Trent Nelson has spent his career photographing the people of the American West. He has been a staff photographer at The Salt Lake Tribune since 1995. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, he is the founder of utahphotojournalism.com and blogs at www.theclick.us and www.trenthead.com.

Trent says, "I photographed these two members of royalty just before a parade in the small town of Magna, Utah. It’s one of my favorite places to photograph. In fact, all the small towns of Utah are. Large hearts are found in small places."
